Didn't see this anywhere but has anybody else heard about the HOH that will be in LA before the holidays?

Seems they may have it in the Beverly Center. Haven't been
by there in a while. Has anybody seen if the Footlocker is being remodeled there?

Pretty sure he means for a store that is meant to bring these exclusives to the "general public", most of them are falling in to the hands of a very
"select" few at times.

they should have had it across from Staples Center, where they're developing the LA Live complexes and shopping centers.

I wish this entire idea was scrapped.
If the general public(let's say Texas, Florida, Nor Cal, Chicago, and all the lesser known sites where they will not be a HoH) doesn't have a chance at these shoes, what is Nike really trying to accomplish? They're killing off the LeBron line as we speak. I've lost so much interest in the LeBron line because they're is NO CHANCE for anyone without hook-ups, who's not an employee, or has a life to get ANY of the good colorways. I don't $++#%% understand what the point is. It's like a big F U to the customers by Nike. If you really want to give the public a chance at PE's, drop them at the member's only store. Because at this point you might as well rename the House of Hoops to the House of Resellers. Only a select few, only really have chances at the shoes anyway. We've all heard the horror stories of the NY HoH...

When the FL @ Beverly Center was being remodeled, the first thing that I thought was they were making it a HOH. I went upstairs to the Champs and one of their
workers told me the HOH will be at the Fox Hills Mall. Not sure if there's much truth to this. The OG HOH was placed up in Harlem, catering to an African
American core. So it makes sense that they'd do the same thing and place it at Fox Hills. Plus Fox Hills is known for being the spot when it comes to
basketball shoes---and the FL @ Fox Hills is in DIRE need of a makeover.
None of this is confirmed, but I did get this piece of info from dude @ Champs/BC. |

HoH in Harlem > HoH in Beverly Center. At least if its in harlem less people are willing to go and its easier to swing by late and grab a pair. Everyone and
their moms in LA will be at that HoH if it does in fact get put there.

Horrible location.
I would have preferred Fox Hills too. But that probably would have put a lot of stores there in the dirt. Bev. Center has terrible traffic and parking, I think of it as a trek everytime I go there. Def. not a place to just "stop by" and peep the goods. It's whatever to me though, usually I just want the regular Nike BBall PE's, and I don't want to get involved in the mess of Lebron/Kobe PE's. |
