I know a lot of people here have all the air jordans 1-22 and will get 23 weather they like it or not to complete the set. I can understand that, I also would
like to complete the set but I am still missing a few numbers. 15 is one of those numbers, mostly because I, like many others, am not a big fan of the 15s. Now
there is a new 15 SE coming out that might give me a way to have a 15 and not have a shoe that I dislike (assuming the 15SE looks good, I haven't made up
my mind but I feel that they will almost certainly be better than the 15s). I can honestly say I like every other air jordan, some more than others, but I
genuinely like at least one version of every shoe. But I do not always prefer the standard mid release. For instance on the 19s I prefer the SEs. On the 22s I
liked the 5/8s. So I guess my question is would you consider it a complete set if you have these non-"regular" versions for some numbers? In
particular what about the 15 SE that is coming out? Before these I would count any version as that number. Because I buy things to wear, because I like them,
so obviously if I liked the 19SEs better I would buy those over the regular 19s. But these new 15SEs seem a bit different to me, mostly because they are coming
out 8 years after the originals. At this point it doesnt seem like they should count. On the same note though, retros would clearly count to me, even though
they, by definition, come out long after the originals.
I dont want people to tell me to "buy what I like" because I do, this isn't about hype, its just that Ive gotten most every number because I have liked them, and at this point I dont think it is unreasonable to want to complete the set and have at least one of each number. Like I said I think thats a common notion to have, I was just wondering if I said "I have all the Air Jordans 1-23" and the only 15 I had was a 15SE would you consider my claim to be untrue? what about for a 19SE? Is the 15SE different because its so late? Or is it the same? I hope I was clear, just looking for opinions.
