The ankle part of the shoe is killing me. I wear NBA socks so that's not the issue. Any tips on how to resolve this? Thanks Mods I wasn't thinking

I'll take seven mc's and put em in a line,and add seven more brothers who think they can rhyme,but it will take
seven more before i go for mine,now that's twenty one mc's eaten up at the same

Hey, the same happened to me and it led directly to a ruptured Achilles. I played in the white blue colorway just over a weekend tournament and my Achilles
were both red and sore. My left Achilles suffered a tear which healed after three months rest, but the right ruptured totally requiring surgery and a year of
recovery (about four months of which is a cast/boot). I would say stop wearing the shoes and toss them immediately! I'm glad you posted so I could warn
you.

This all started back in 2006 and I was seeing a orthopedist who suggested I stop wearing the shoes, but I was stubborn and liked the look too much to trash
them. My own damn fault for not listening.

I moved up to half a size bigger and the rubbing go away . The fit is also much more comfortable . These shoes are not meant to wear true to size. Just buy
them half a size bigger and you should be okai

what I've learned, These are for casual purposes. I'm the type to wear low cut socks no matter what... I got lbj3 written on my Achilles

the pebax cage comes up too far on the heel. That leads to alot of rubbing due to the lack of flexibility. i would imagine skinny ankles and narrow heels dont
fit the shoe well. These are definitely more for a high volume foot.

had the same problem with my zoom mvps wore them once and had to take them off.....my achilles was killing me...

My feet are kinda on the narrow size, so after hearing what others have to say about this shoe it doesn't suprise me why they were the worst shoes I've
ever played in. Stick clear of these if you have narrow feet and buy some LBJ II's. They were probably the best I've ever had!

chances are the heel padding is too low on it, causing heel rubbing and your calcanenus and achilles to inflame. you probably need orthotics

it all depends on the shoe too. i have some 3's from an outlet that rub and i have some 3's from a regular store that do not. i think there something
wrong with the way some of these were made. just my .02. if they're rubbing i wouldn't wear them to ball in. hence the probs from my peeps above.

Man... I never balled in mine. Just wear them casually.. that would suck cause I have BAD achilles from football...

these made my achilles sore when i played in them too, so i retired them to casual use after just two times of playing in them. the back is cut really high,
they felt like boots.

I never had this problem? To be honest.... the ZL3 are AMAZING... just a bit too heavy. How can the Zoom Soldier 3 be twice as light? ZL3 with ZS3 weight would
be the best shoe EVER

Thanks fellas. I don't know really what to do cause i copped 2 pairs of them. Love the shoe minus the ankle problems. Was thinking would a ankle brace cure

get some of those adidas speedwraps. they are expensive, but give more ankle flexibility than just about any other ankle brace.
