Very Few Movies Are as Powerful as "Into the Wild" [SPOILERS] |
Lead | ||
|
One of the most powerful movies I've ever seen. Emile Hirsch was phenomenal. It blows my mind how Juno and Michael Clayton were nominated over this
masterpiece. I can't, no actually, I can believe Sean Penn wrote the screenplay and directed this movie. Simply perfect.

Agreed, only saw it the one time and I really enjoyed it.
I need to catch it again for sure. I'm not really a fan of Emile Hirsch, but he was great in this performance.

i highly recommend the book. its a little different from the movie. the book sounds more like a documentary where the author is interviewing different people
chris encountered.

Sorry, but this movie SUCKED. I didn't read the book but the movie seemed like it was a story that wasnt supposed to become a movie. It just didnt work
well on the big screen.

Meshies,
The movie never was on the big screen, it came straight to DVD. Read the book and do some research and maybe you'll enjoy the movie more. What he did was ballsy, and different.
