Waddup!,
Ive been reading and hearing people wine about they dont like the "23" on side of the V's since the black/metallic V's released 
. I mean like you guys say on here "to each his own" ,BUT when it
comes to something special like these MJ PE's i would expect everyone to go bananas, i mean i know i did.
Not in a million years did i think they would release these. I guess what im trying to figure out is , do your guys who dont like the 23 on side know what your
really getting? With my size this is as close as ill ever get to having the Rare OG PEs!..i cant wait to cop this pack..i place it up there with the
6/17-7/16...some may disagree..but im a fan of the 18 even tho i never had it.
Now i know most of us get mad a Gentry but on this move,black/metallic V's,and fire red/black V's ..he gets 2 thumbs up in my book!
Anyway heres some pics to change your mind of Mike rocking the OG PE's

Niketalkers ALWAYS wants what JB wont give them.
Anyways iMO, i think the 23 looks great i have no issues with it, and i preffer it anyways. on another note the Vs are one of the Air Jordan models that looks perfectly fine without nike air |

The 23 is not a problem for me cus when I wear these imma always keep the "45" on my side.

Ha,ha....I was looking for that picture with MJ with the "12."
I too love the fact that JB is coming out with the V PE's that MJ wore. Back in the day, I actually had that Sports Illustrated with MJ wearing the black V PE against the pistons. Great Pics man! |

my only problem with the 23 is that it is not the same font, and is much smaller.

It's not a big deal, but bear in mind the font of the current '23' is not the same as OG or MJ's PEs.

i like the 23s on the retro's. and i agree, the jumpman at the V looks better than the nike air.

I don't neccessarily like or dislike the "23" on the side of these. Not as much as I disliked the "Mars" on the side of the IV's.
This was the colorway of the V's I had playing jr. high ball way back in the day. Now that I'm 30 I really don't care at all about "Nike Air" vs. "Jumpman" on the back. I'll look past most of this just remembering the glory days wearing the OGs. The "Mars" was tacky as hell though on the IV's in my opinion. |
