It doesnt. heads come here to get info and such. heads got to read and filter through the hate messages to get decent info and comments. I didnt cop the GP VI's and I didnt like them either but why waste my time Hatin on them and those who did buy them.

. What I can't get is with all these flaws, I can't find myself paying JB a premium for a shoe that is not flawless. Retro IV's have received the retro treatment at a price point of no more than $115.
I also don't understand why criticism is dismissed as hate, when the criticism is justified by everyone and anyone that is voicing their honest opinion.
Saying "Kobe is a terrible NBA player", can be dismissed as hate since Kobe is one of the best players in the NBA. Saying the IV's are of subpar quality is not hate since many members have pointed out the major flaws in this shoe.
I was dying to get this shoe, I just wasn't dying to pay $310 for it. I was hoping that a discount code would pop up, unfortunately I didn't. I had my size in the cyber cart a couple of times, first on FNL and then on NDC, both times I couldn't pull the trigger. I saw the shoes in person, in my size, and still couldn't buy them, because the product does not justify the price point.
If they were a normal GR, I would of bought 2-3 in a heartbeat with employee discount all three would have come out to less than the price point JB is offering. These packs are a gimmick, and unfortunately we who collect, wear and love these shoes have to pay a price.
Iljapino is right, we are split into two factions. Both still love sneakers and Jordans, however, one is still willing to bend backwards and accept the bone that JB tosses our way like starving dogs. Then there is the faction that is saying "You know what, I'm tired of the BS".
In the end both sides are passionate and both sides are right because in the end it is an individual choice. Throughout this thread I have never said, people are dumb for paying $310. It is their money and they can do what they wish. I have said that the price is ridiculous, and that these shoes are not worth $310 (I know you get the XIX's, but who cares about the XIX's). That is my personal opinion.
It isn't hate, and I'm not hating. These price point of the shoe does not justify the product, no matter what way you try to spin it.
Hypothetically, if JB tried to release this Retro IV as a stand alone GR at a price point of $155, would everyone accept it? I doubt it, since that price point for Retro IV's is absurd. However, add a stupid box and a high end but slow selling recent Jordan and all of a sudden it becomes acceptable.
What is ironic is that you dismiss everything that doesn't go along with your train of thought as "simple minded". I've looked over your post a couple of times, and it screams "simple minded".
We, the "faction" (), that is displeased with what JB is doing have voiced our complaint and it is backed up with valid points.

Fact of the matter is that a lot of us still love kicks and still love and rock our Jordan's. However, we are just tired of bending over for Gentry and JB.
I would love to buy this pack, I won't pay $310 for it.
realdillxxx- They won't tell a customer the truth, it is not good PR. NTLA's sales have been slumping as of late and they got punished for it. Word is that they won't receive anymore CDP's, AT ALL. Even if they recover. It sucks though, the only reason the urban NTLA customer shows up is to get these type of releases. I will keep you guys posted.

Jb didnt have to release these double packs for the 23 year. We Jordan heads could have kept searching for grails like the VI and VII and IV to some. and pay
