Def Jam really needed to push Hero and I think if they did, it would've become a big smash. Instead, they're treating Nas like some old employee,
treating him like crap so he can quit/leave/retire.
And sales do matter to me, because if albums like this can sell a good amount, it can displace some of the crap that other rappers put out. |

im not gonna listen to anymore until this comes out in stores but from what i've heard its amazing...i don't see how the production could be bad...

This album is pretty good...but im still copping regardless. I hope they promote "Hero" well..it definitely has a lot of potential.

Same as most Nas' albums...
People will be all over it because it's Nas...and then come to their senses when they realize that a month from now...they won't be listening to it anymore. |

im disappointed and i think nas is the goat
lyrics are a 5/5 as usual, but these beats are not just wack, theyre boring as fukk he shoulda had (association, be a n1gga too, i'm on, middle finger u on the cd) cd just isnt very exciting hopefully they throw some more tracks on here nas need to just let someone else pick all his beats and he just handle the rapping wow @ the lyrics tho |

i honestly think jay-z picked the black republicans beat on the hip hop is dead album. nas had picked a wack beat and asked jay to come spit a verse. jay was
like naw god this beat is garbage, try using this one.

I'm glad they changed the drums on the ###++! track.
This album is very good, IDK what's up with dudes complaining when they aiin't even Nas fans (usually bash him on this board). I'm just gonna mix up the best tracks from this album, and the best from his advance, on 1 CD and call it a day. Bumpin' this on the way to Philly tomm. Project Roach.
