Have anyone found work through temp agencies and how do they work exactly.
I need some $ and was thinking about trying to find a job from them. Do they take a cut of my paycheck and are they usually reliable in finding jobs?

you won't even know how much you're making from the company you're working for...they send you
to.
the temp agency will just tell you how much you're getting paid hourly...and your paycheck will be cut through them. the agency does take a cut though... but you will never know how much. eg. the company pays the agency $20/hr. Then the agency will pay you $10/hr... but you'll never know about that $20/hr amt.

I worked for a temp agency.
Work varies, but its great for flexibility, and on days u dont feel like working u can jus pass on the offer. Some jobs paid 20/hr and all i did was stand around for 8 hrs greeting ppl, other jobs paid $12/hr and i worked like a slave....I guess it depends on the agency, but for me i coukldnt handle not knowing exactly how much work i had to do that day, But its good if u have another job, so u can make some extra money on your days off.

Most temp jobs around my way pay between $8-$10 an hour after they take their part. I know that for a few of the regular jobs the pay was in the $12-$15 range.
It sucks, but if you need the money go for it, plus you'll have your foot in the door if the opportunity for a permanent job comes about.

i got a permanent job thru one and thats how i am at this job now. Not that bad, they took $6/hour outta my check.
