with all the hype on this shoe i would like to share a few points on the anticipated Air Max LeBron vii about to hit our shores in november. take note this is my experience ballin in the vii's as a bigman.

here we go!

as we all know, the lebron line has been using the zoom cushioning for the last six models and honestly i've only played in two of em (III and V) i have no gripes about zoom....

Jordan 16.5 first impressions

i went to try out the 16.5s today at footlocker and finishline (at queens center). my true size is 8.5, i'm 5'5", 130 lbs (light, i know lol).
so i tried the white/black/blue cw at footlocker in a 9 and 8 since they were s/o of the 8.5s. first thing i gotta say about the shoe is that they look good, and they have a spacious toebox.
the 9 felt way too big on me, the 8 felt better and i still had room from my big toe to the front of the inside of the shoe. but the sides...

How do these fit? Do they fit narrow/wide, long/short and how is the padding on the tongue? It might sound strange but how is the ankle protection? I'm planning to use these for casual outdoor bball.

I've had the II's and those felt like 1/2 size smaller, both width and length wise.

Tried these on recently. Has serious looks as it combines the hyperflight with the blazer.

Lightweight, good traction, decent ankle support, lightweight, zoom air in heel.

Cept one thing. No cushioning in forefoot. Pass

I was wondering if it was a good idea to buy these OG Foamposite Ones.. I have never bought a pair of "OG's" so I really do not know much..

1. How durable are these shoes?
--- Will they break on me?
--- Will the sole begin to separate?
--- Anything else I should worry or pay attention to?

2. Is there a lot of life left in these shoes, or would this just be for a collection?

I was wondering if anyone has tried out the Adidas Powerweb Compression shorts/tights or any of their powerweb stuff before. I'm tempted by the adidas 30% off right now, but can't really pull the trigger without knowing about fit and whether it's really worth it. It'd be about $60 for a pair of shorts. Anyone have any experience with their other gear? I've seen shirts and sleeves, etc.

I bought a pair of the White/Black/Red colorway from DTLR strictly for ballin and the shoes actually feel great. They were stiff at first but halfway through the first game they felt fine. They are light and have excellent traction. I normally only ball in the XIX's but I tried these out since I was able to get for $80.00 due to price mix-up. I didn't know they were out yet but they are a very good ballin shoe.

I'm curious about the forefoot stability... seemed kind of iffy almost as if the front part of the sole is rounded under the foot and thus prone to induce an ankle sprain...
